They have three makes available, two of them Harleys, the other a BMW K100. For the BMW, the price is 90.70/day including insurance and tax if you rent for 1-6 days. If you rent 7days to 4 weeks, it drops to $85.25/day. You must pay for insurance through them. Aloha Funways in Waikiki has a range of bikes to rent from Nighthawk 250s to some sort of big Harleys. They also have Honda Elite 150s (classed as a motorcycle) and various other scooters and mopeds. Off the top of my head, I recall daily rentals ranged from ~$30 to ~$80. Helmets were an additional $2/day (not required (and rarely seen) in Hawaii). The bike had about 28,000 miles and was mint. It had every accessory including CB. My college roommate rode pillion, and we toured through the Amador County wineries, the Sierras, and Yosemite. Rental was about $640 for the week. I highly recommend renting from them. The bike and service were great and the riding opportunities are spectacular. Rented it from Sixt (Budget) Rent-A-Car. The rate was DM77,-/day with 77km/day free and DM0,77 for each km over that. Insurance was an extra DM23,-/day. Sixt had LowRiders and Electraglides available, the Electraglides were more expensive. Apparently, Sixt was experimenting with a m/c rental program. I don't know if it is still in effect. Bit of a warning though--they didn't like my Colorado Driving License even though it has a m/c endorsement. They liked my International Driving Permit (also endorsed for m/c) though... This is cheap, you need about two days notice. A Smoke(London) firm is a Kawasaki dealer and rent out almost new bikes. For example, an almost new Kawa Zephyr 750 is L195 inclusive of _everything_. They need to be booked a long time in advance though. The smaller the model sought, the greater chances of it being available. They are: Raceways Bike Hire on 071 237 6494. They need a Credit Card for the deposit and Yankee licences are OK. They have rented out bikes to USers before.
